  • KITS EXPLORER SPORTS CAMP - KESC - March 21-25

    Get off the couch during spring break and come explore, learn and have some fun playing a variety of sports that are played here at ETHS. Boys and Girls of all skill levels are welcome. Great way to introduce your child to different sports. Campers will be taught by current and/or former ETHS coaches and athletes. Campers will learn proper warm-ups and cool-downs, static and dynamic stretches, basic fundamentals of each sport, as well as play competitive games. Sports may include but are not limited to: Soccer, Basketball, Track & Field, Gymnastics, Lacrosse, Floor Hockey, Flag Football, Softball, Baseball, Kickball, Table Tennis, etc...

  • PowerKits Middle School Strength and Conditioning Dec 1 - Dec 22 (Mon & Wed)

    • Grade: entering 5th - 8th

    The PowerKits Middle School Strength and Conditioning Camp is designed for athletes in grades 5 thru 8 who are planning to attend Evanston Township High School. The camp focuses on building base strength levels and teaching weight room skills and ettiquite. By enrolling in this camp athletes will gain an edge on their competition and increase their athletic potential during their athletic career. Our goal is to not only make you a better athlete but a stronger, faster, more durable human being. This camp will be offered in 4 week blocks all year long.

    General Outline for a Day
    - Warm up: Athletes will learn new skills and prepare their body for the day

    - Olympic Lifting: Atheltes will work through progressions to learn the proper technique for the snatch and the clean and jerk

    - Explosive movements: Athletes will work on their athleticism through ballistic, explosive movements

    - Strength movements: Athletes will learn all of our basic strength movements, squating, lunging, pushing, pulling and rotating. Athletes will progress from bodyweight to weighted as dictated by their age and ability to perform exercises through proper technique.

    - Prehab/Rehab movements: Athletes will complete exercises designed to strengthen areas that tend to get injured often in sports (hips, shoulders, hamstrings, back, etc)

    Our main goal is to make our athletes stronger, faster, and more durable. There is no prerequisite that the athletes need, but we have an expectation of effort and a willingness to learn.
